Energy-efficient society, enterprise and municipality

We would like to inform you that the project “Energy-Efficient Society, Enterprise and Municipality. An Educational and Information Campaign on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources” has received funding under the NFOŚiGW Ecological Education programme. Implemented by the ideaTECH Association, the project began on 1 October 2023 and will run until 30 September 2025, encompassing a range of educational and promotional activities, including the organisation of two scientific and industrial congresses (online version planned), the development of an educational platform, six webinars, as well as information and radio campaigns.

SKAMER-ACM is a substantive partner of the project.

The aim of the project is to promote rational energy management and renewable energy sources, as well as to integrate scientific, industrial and local government communities in order to implement climate policy and transition to a climate-neutral economy.

The project’s target group includes entrepreneurs from the SME sector and large enterprises specialising in sustainable energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, intelligent construction, automation and robotics. The project is also addressed to representatives and authorities of Local Government Units (LGUs), who have a real impact on regional pro-environmental and investment policies. It also includes scientific and educational institutions, including universities, students and pupils – future employees – as well as providing substantive and scientific support for entrepreneurs. Households, as end users of energy-saving solutions and customers of enterprises, also constitute an important part of the target group.

The project pays special attention to persons with disabilities and socially excluded individuals, who constitute a separate and significant group of participants. It is anticipated that at least 30% of participants will come from this group, both as separate participants and as representatives within the above-mentioned subgroups. This approach aims to ensure broad and diverse representation and the integration of all participants, regardless of their specific needs and challenges.

The detailed topics of the planned webinars and congresses will be determined in consultation with experts and speakers.

The planned main thematic blocks of the project, covering a wide range of content with which participants will be able to familiarise themselves, include:

  • Energy efficiency and energy saving
  • White certificates
  • Energy efficiency audits
  • Renewable Energy Sources
  • Energy storage
  • Energy-efficient lighting
  • Building thermal modernisation
  • Electromobility
  • Intelligent energy management in buildings
  • Industrial measurements and automation
  • Funding opportunities

The recruitment of participants for the project will be carried out through diversified communication channels tailored to the needs of specific target groups. For entrepreneurs from the SME sector and large companies in the sustainable energy and electrical engineering industries, the promotional campaign will primarily be conducted through specialised online portals, industry press, and via social media, with particular emphasis on LinkedIn. Local Government Units (LGUs), their representatives and authorities will be informed through nationwide online portals, radio spots, and social media, mainly Facebook. Households, as end users of energy-saving solutions, will be engaged through campaigns in nationwide media, radio, and social media, including Facebook and LinkedIn. Persons with disabilities and socially excluded individuals, as an important target group, will be recruited both through direct contact and cooperation with organisations experienced in working with these groups, such as the Nowa Huta Promotion Foundation. Communication will focus on highlighting the benefits of participation in the project, including opportunities to meet potential employers, gain knowledge, and develop personally and professionally.

The project will provide particularly comprehensive support for persons with disabilities and socially excluded individuals, including specialised services as well as support from volunteers and association members, enabling effective outreach to all target groups and ensuring equal access to education and development in the field of sustainable development and energy efficiency.

The project “Energy-Efficient Society, Enterprise and Municipality”, as an initiative in the field of ecological education, aims not only to increase environmental awareness but also to promote pro-environmental attitudes among various segments of society. Its activities are focused on integrating scientific, business and local government communities, thereby contributing to building a strong and shared platform for sustainable development initiatives. The project emphasises accessibility and the availability of knowledge, enabling all interested groups, regardless of their background or experience, to acquire valuable knowledge and skills. This approach not only enriches the project participants but also contributes to shaping a more aware and responsible society.
