ideaTECH Association – for the sake of future generations
Established within the Lesser Poland–Podkarpackie Clean Energy Cluster at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, the ideaTECH Association has been setting standards in the field of renewable energy sources for a decade. Bringing together experts from universities, industry, non-profit organisations and research institutions, ideaTECH promotes environmentally friendly energy solutions. Its activities range from implementing RES-based solutions, undertaking environmental initiatives, disseminating knowledge about broadly understood renewable energy sources within society, fostering innovation across various sectors of the economy, organising conferences and scientific sessions, to the commercialisation of research results.
Sustainable Energy Sources for a Better Future
Today, care for the natural environment is becoming an increasingly important element of social and business progress. Responsibility for the future of our planet is a task worth undertaking together. The ideaTECH Association was founded with the vision of creating a world in which energy is generated in an environmentally friendly way. The organisation’s mission is to actively promote and develop technologies based on renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind energy. Through an innovative approach to the challenges related to the energy sector, ideaTECH strives to create sustainable solutions that will serve future generations.
Projects Implemented by ideaTECH
ideaTECH carries out numerous projects focused on the implementation of photovoltaic solutions, mainly for small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large corporations. It offers a comprehensive range of services covering all stages of the process – from initial concepts and obtaining the required permits, through design and construction, to commissioning of installations.
It is worth emphasising that, in response to an EU directive, from 2026 onwards all new public and commercial buildings with an area exceeding 250 square metres will be required to be equipped with photovoltaic installations. In 2027, this requirement will be extended to all existing buildings, both public and commercial. From 2029, every newly built single-family house will be obliged to install photovoltaic systems. This challenge is significant not only for the transmission system and the technical aspects of constructing such installations, but it also requires strengthening social communication in order to explain the reasons for these regulations and the benefits of implementing renewable energy sources in our homes and buildings.
For this reason, for nearly ten years the ideaTECH Association has been actively involved in numerous projects aimed at raising public awareness of the benefits of renewable energy sources. Education constitutes a key area of the organisation’s activities, playing a significant role in shaping pro-environmental attitudes. ideaTECH organises workshops, training sessions and conferences during which experts share their knowledge on modern energy technologies.
ideaTECH has successfully completed and continues to implement many ecological education projects. Thanks to the funds obtained, these initiatives have expanded their reach across Poland, enabling the organisation to pursue its mission and objectives even more effectively. Moreover, the association actively cooperates with various institutions and companies to jointly develop and implement projects focused on renewable energy sources.
The ideaTECH Association has been actively working towards a better future for our planet for nearly a decade. Through the implementation of projects, initiation of innovative initiatives, educational activities and cooperation with diverse entities, ideaTECH significantly contributes to the development of renewable energy technologies.
We encourage you to join this ecological mission and to work together towards building a sustainable future for all of us.
Cooperation between SKAMER-ACM and the ideaTECH Association provides essential tools and know-how for implementing investments aimed at optimising energy consumption. We present various approaches to process automation and their potential impact on energy efficiency.
Energy efficiency is becoming an increasingly important issue in the context of sustainable development and the reduction of operating costs in industry. Process automation constitutes a key element in achieving objectives related to optimising energy consumption. Cooperation between SKAMER-ACM and the ideaTECH Association enables the use of advanced technologies and scientific knowledge in this area.
Energy Efficiency Improvement Strategies:
- Monitoring and Energy Consumption Analysis: The implementation of monitoring systems enables precise tracking of energy consumption, identification of areas with the highest demand, and trend analysis, allowing for targeted corrective actions.
- Intelligent Lighting and HVAC Systems: The use of management systems based on presence sensors and intelligent algorithms enables dynamic adjustment of lighting and air conditioning to current needs, minimising excessive and unnecessary energy consumption.
- Automation of Production Processes: The implementation of advanced process control systems allows optimisation of energy use by adjusting production to current requirements and reducing energy losses.
- Energy-Efficient Technologies: The search for innovative technologies, such as high-efficiency electric motors or renewable energy sources, constitutes a key element in reducing energy consumption and minimising environmental impact.
- Energy Management Systems (EMS): The implementation of energy management systems enables remote monitoring and control of energy systems, allowing effective real-time energy consumption management.
- Education and Awareness: Raising employee awareness and promoting pro-environmental activities fosters changes in habits and approaches to energy consumption in the workplace.
- Support for Innovative Projects: Actively seeking and supporting innovative projects related to energy efficiency contributes to continuous development and improvement in this area.
- Marketing Strategies: The use of marketing strategies to promote energy efficiency activities helps increase awareness among customers and business partners regarding the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
Energy efficiency in industrial plants requires a comprehensive approach and the use of advanced technologies. Cooperation between SKAMER-ACM and the ideaTECH Association enables the effective use of automation to optimise energy consumption. Specialists in energy audits and renewable energy sources play a key role, allowing strategies to be tailored to the individual needs and specific characteristics of a company’s operations. The presented approaches may serve as valuable inspiration for companies seeking to improve energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint.
